It started simply enough. While craft-store shopping in November, I decided that for Christmas, I would make the moms and grandmas calendars.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n
I soon realized I would need to make several calendars…like 5.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n
I then realized it was already November and I had about 4 weeks to get stuff done.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n
I began to question how much I really loved these women.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n
And whether any of their gifts would actually be finished by Spring…<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n
This project was quickly going to h*ll in a hand basket as they say…<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\"\"<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n
…But I buckled down, thought happy thoughts and got it done.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n
(Happy thoughts of flowers and summer of course…)<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n
Thankfully the project was finished on time which was cause for much celebration!<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n
A\u00a0bicycle ride perhaps?!? (no silly, it’s winter)<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n
Next fall, I’m starting my Christmas gifts in September…<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n
…or at the VERY latest Halloween.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n
So come Turkey-day my gifts are all buttoned up, and I have nothing to do but relax and enjoy the holiday season…<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

…instead of being hunched over my crafting table like one of Santa’s elves as I did this year.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
