I took an updated picture at 38 weeks before I headed off to have a day at the salon. I got\u00a0a haircut and my first ever pedicure! My friend Carrie came along and it was a generally fun girl’s day out. <\/span><\/p>\n

Developments from the last week or two. My weight gain has stalled. The little guy is still kicking and rolling and beating my insides like a drum. My belly\u00a0stretch marks sometimes\u00a0itch\u00a0LIKE CRAZY!!<\/p>\n

38 weeks!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The little guy\u00a0is SLOWLY dropping, causing some groin soreness, and pressure\u00a0but nothing to bad yet. Generally everyone\u00a0who finds out I’m due within\u00a02 weeks seems suprised, so I must not be looking too hideous.\u00a0When I saw the OB last week he said “see you next week”. Today I saw him again and other than the baby’s head being a bit lower not much has changed. I will probably see him again next week. They have my official due date projected to be March 11th, so I still have some time. If he overstays the due date they would induce me on or near the 18th. Either way the countdown to my last day at work is well under way. I plan to work until the 9th, which happens to be a Friday. At that point I’ll see how I’m feeling, and if they are busy I may go in a few hours here or there (if allowed).<\/p>\n
