Happy 4th to my William!

imageDear William,

4 years old. How did that happen? I was getting you dressed and realized how you’ve stretched from “toddler” into “big boy” seemingly in the last month. You are an excellent bigbrother to Christopher (most of the time) and you’re SO excited about becoming a big brother once again. This time you areimage
big enough to ask all sorts of questions, about how the new baby in mom’s tummy eats, how big he is, and how they will get him out. You are fueled by fruit snacks, rice krispie bars, and peanut butter and jelly. Why anyone would eat more than the frosting off the top of a cupcake is beyond you. You make us laugh so hard sometimes. Dolphinator=Darth Vader is one of my favorites. You also asked recently if you could go play in the sign park, which turns out is your special name for cemetery. We’re still working on saying “rainBow” instead of “rainGo”, but otherwise you are very smart and very articulate. We still have our fair share of meltdowns, usually because a certain younger brother isn’t playing with you exactly how he’s been instructed. You still wake up with a yell (Excuse me Mommy!!), but go to sleep (and stay asleep) without much struggle. You like to tell us “there’s no dirt in my hair today” in an attempt to get out of washing your hair in the bathtub. You’re a silly combination noise and perpetual motion. You are smart and funny and make us all very proud. Happy 4th Birthday to YOU William!
