This spring Jason decided to plant peas along the fence in our back yard along with the usual garden places. He was out there in March, which I considered overly ambitious at the time, since we were just starting our indoor seeds. His ambition has paid off however, as we’ve been eating peas over the past week and tonight we finished off the harvest of the remaining crop. Looks like the next batch of peas (planted later in the garden), should be ready to eat starting in a few days. Tonight Jason commented: “You should take some peas to your co-workers, they eat healthy stuff like this. My co-workers only like cookies and brownies.” Depending on how sick of peas I am in the next few days I might take his advice.
