Dear Goo,
Hard to believe at 2 years old we’re still calling you “Goo”. I guess when your big brother gives you a nickname at daycare and it catches on, you just roll with it. It’s a good thing you’re so easy-going. Rolling with the punches usually comes pretty easy for you. You did awesome becoming a big brother this year! I think you and little Andrew will (hopefully) become best buddies. Right now your current obsessions are eating graham crackers with milk, watching endless hours of “Wonder Pets”, and playing with (and bringing home) the toy vacuum from daycare. Going for a walk is a sure way to cheer you up. Outside is one of your favorite places to be. You don’t let William push you around, but sometimes being the “big brother” William gets the short end of the deal. You’re still easy to smile, but becoming increasingly opinionated in your advanced age. We haven’t tried potty-training, but you will retrieve your own diaper and are helpful in going through the motions of getting changed. You’re big enough to skip naps all day at daycare, but play so hard it isn’t unusual for you to fall asleep on the car ride home. You’re getting your last set of baby molars and man teething makes you cranky! The bottom line is you are a wonderful part of our family and we love watching you grow and learn. Here’s to another exciting year! Happy birthday Goo!
