Driving my sister-in-law’s vehicle home after dropping her off at the airport last night was quite liberating. For the first time since I can remember, I knew for certain I was not being judged by my college education or the balance in my retirement account. This beautiful creature will be parked in MY driveway for the next two weeks. While there are some minor issues I could deal with–making sure to turn the dome lights off because there’s a short somewhere and if it rains the battery will go dead, the blinding red interior, the lack of rear seating–I’d be rockin’ it to work if I wasn’t so afraid of interstate speeds or the potentially dangerous low oil level. If anyone is interested in a viewing let me know. The paint job–including the misspelling of ‘believe’–really needs to be experienced in person.
